Extremely similar in heat and flavor to an orange habanero, but a rarer strain with a very unique shape. This plant really impressed me, as it is very unique - I've never seen a pepper plant that grows the way this one does. Aldaberto habaneros grow long stems and then flower at a node, producing 5-10 peppers on a single node (unlike all other chinense chiles which grow 2-3 pods per node). You wind up with large clusters of peppers. I have yet to see another pepper plant do this type of growing. The pods have a heart-like shape (anatomical heart, not the cartoon one). Use the same way as you'd use a regular habanero, get creative! Limited supply.
